This week’s Musing asks…

What’s the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn’t put it down?

Robert Jordan's "The Eye of the World" it is the first in his series "Wheel of Time." I had a big love/hate relationship with this book. At first, I could not get into it. Then, all of a sudden something just clicked and I was having to know what happens next. You have the good guys and the bad guys, and of course the fate of the world hangs in the balance. But the characters became very likable to me, even the ones that really irritated me with their decision to be dumb. And the characters I fell in love with... Were still alive at the end of the book :-)

  1. I know what you mean about the love/hate relationship you have with this book, I felt exactly the same.

  2. Oh God, Robert Jordan's "The Eye of the World" - I ended up chained to the series. Read every book that followed, and waited for Mr Jordan to finish with the next one, and the next one... with the intervals growing longer and longer... until I had to mourn his passing.

It's great that the series has passed on to another good writer, so the fans will finally get some kind of closure!

Here's my Musing Mondays (June 13) post!
